Course Overview
The course is designed to meet the base requirements for unarmed security guard and crowd control licensing. Many states have adopted the Certificate II in Security Operations as the minimum qualification.
Training is made up of 7 core units and 5 electives. Some of the electives include:
- Control and direct traffic
- Patrol premises
- Protect valuables in transit
- Screen people
- Screen items.
Many of the electives are designed to provide experience in a specific sector of the industry.
